Sergei's back with Saku

It seems the Kovalev-Koivu experiment is over for now. Guy Carbonneau used that combination early in the game and it appeared to set the tone, but the Canadiens have taken back-to-back penalties and that has temporarily stimied the Canadiens offense. However, the boys in red, white and blue are working hard tonight and Carey Price appears to be in fine form. He made a kick save a few minutes ago that could very well be the save of the series thus far. As I write this, the chants of "Carey, Carey, Carey" rain down from the Bell Centre rafters. Great game so far as we sit with a few minutes to go in the first period. |
